Pre Tour Info, a simple guide to help plan your day
Arrival
Please confirm your pick up location with your Captain prior to the tour.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your tour start time, so that your time on the Buzz Buggy is maximized. That way we can get everyone signed in, check id's and go over the rules and get on the road on time.
Each Rider needs an ID and waiver. You will be texted a link to our digital waiver at 9am the day of your tour. Please send this on to all riders in your group! Save your confirmation email and show this along with your ID to your Captain when you check in. It saves time if you do it ahead of time (prior to showing up). The tour will not depart until all participants have signed the digital waiver.
Please keep in mind traffic and parking. It’s better to error on the side of early than late.
The Tour
Stop at awesome bars along the way. Check out murals & Instagram-worthy photo-ops. Take in the sights of the City. Stop by museums, landmarks, parks and other points of interest.
Private Tours leave from your chosen pick up location (within our service areas). Public Tours all depart from Knotty Barrel, 844 Market St. San Diego, CA 92101. There are tons of fun bars along our routes to make pit stops at. The key is to be efficient with your time at the stops so you can maximize your time on the Buzz Buggy. Bring cash so the stop doesn’t have to run multiple credit cards or even better collect a few extra bucks from each person so just one person pays for the round of drinks when we stop.
Partner bars offer drink specials for Buzz Buggy customers. The specials vary from place to place, but you typically save a couple bucks a drink. We do our best to only partner with those that honor the specials to all of our guests, but ultimately its up to the establishments to discount drinks. A list of partner bars are listed in the booking process, as well as will be in a binder on each vehicle.
Throughout the city there are tons of murals and awesome Instagram- worthy back drops for great photo-ops.
Famous landmarks and points of interest to check out: Coronado Bridge, Seaport Village, USS Midway, Star of India, Waterfront Park, Kissing Statue, Gaslamp Quarter, North Park, South Park, Balboa Park, Little Italy...the list goes on!
Things to Bring
Awesome tunes make for the best tours, it's been scientifically proven!
We recommend dressing in layers for your comfort. We have Mexican blankets on board as well in case it gets cold.
We have storage for bags, purses, backpacks and coolers. Bring water to stay hydrated and any snacks you'd like to have along the way.
BYOB! Alcohol is allowed on our vehicles. If alcohol will be present ALL passengers must be 21. No exceptions. Glass is not permitted. We recommend containers with a lid ie: hydro flasks, Yeti's, coffee cups, etc. Koozies are preferred for any cans as well.
Load up an awesome playlist on your phone- it will make for an unforgettable tour. We've got cords to plug into our our sound system, as well as Bluetooth capabilities!
Don't forget your ID, its required to join the tour!
Weather Policy
The show will go on.....
Rain Checks will only be issued if we have a nasty weather day or if the Captain feels that the conditions aren't safe. Safety is the most important thing. We will be in contact with you if the weather looks rough. Weather cancellations are at the discretion of the company.
Light Rain is all good, we have a roof/canopy on each vehicle to keep you dry so you can "Party On"

It's much more accurate for day of weather forecast than other sources, especially the iPhone weather app.
The Buzz Buggy!
Buzz On.....
Custom Golf Cart- Each golf cart seats 5 people plus the Captain. 3 forward facing seats and 2 rear facing seats. All golf carts are equip with seat belts (and are mandatory to ride).
Tuk Tuk- Each tuk tuk seats 6 people plus the Captain. One bench seat rear facing and one bench seat forward facing (you face each other for great socialization!). All tuk tuks are equip with seat belts (and are mandatory to ride).
Staff- Each bike is staffed with a Captain, who will be your awesome tour guide/sober driver for the tour. We will take care of helping to plan your tour stops, parking and watching your things while you are at your stops.
Music- We have an on board Sound System, bring a phone and plug it in. A good playlist pairs well with a fun tour.

Private tours: We can pick you up anywhere in the following areas: Downtown (Gaslamp, East Village, Marina), Little Italy, Bankers Hill, Hillcrest, North Park, South Park, Golden Hill, Seaport/Cruise Ship Terminal.
Public Tours: All depart from Knotty Barrel, 844 Market St. San Diego, CA 92101
Please confirm your pick up location with your Captain PRIOR to tour start time.
